If Scripture shapes what you believe about life, marriage, sex, family, children, law, justice and the role of government, then those convictions don’t suddenly disappear when you enter the voting booth. Look at what the modern Democratic Party openly supports: • Abortion rights • Same-sex marriage • Transgender policies affecting women’s sports and private spaces • Policies limiting immigration enforcement • Restrictions on some expressions of traditional Christian beliefs in public institutions Christians can debate candidates, strategy and individual policies. But you cannot claim biblical convictions matter everywhere except where political power is exercised. Your vote has consequences. So before you vote, ask a harder question than, “What benefits me?” Can I defend what I’m empowering before God? Tweet.
